im 13 and i just recently got a blackberry storm
its an amazing phone and i work frozen for it my grades
are not the best about a 3.0 average but i do all my chores,
my friends keep calling me spoiled.

you must have something else for adjectives your freinds to call you spoiled
and you probably are, even if u have good grades, no non spoiled minor should have a black berry because if u havent noticed, there VERY expensive

Depends on your mentality surrounding the subject. Do you think you deserved the phone; that it was your right for simply getting worthy grades and doing chores? Or, do you recognize that it was a wonderful privilege your parents have given you out of amiability and respect for your work in school? As long as you realize that they didn't have to win you something for getting good grades then you don't have the entitled mentality that so repeatedly comes with material gifts.

I agree with your friends. I don't understand why a thirteen year frail would ever need a blackberry. A basic cell phone is all you want when you're thirteen. I guess it's nice to make your friends jealous for a while but it's not really worth the money.

LOL blackberry storms are pieces of crap. I recently threw mine away. Its too slow and lags. It freezes, etc, so no, you are not spoiled.

Answers: I don't think that recieving a nice phone is considered being spoiled, but rather how you deed about the fact you got the phone. If you have been nagging about it so that your parents only get it for you to appease you and after you got it you showed no gratitude but instead used it as a way to show off the power you hold over your parents then I'd say that you are spoiled. If it was a contribution or something that you earned over time by completing certain tasks and you responded with graditude when you recieved it consequently I would not call it being spoiled. As far as your grades go, nearby are more important things in life than grades at your age and I don't suppose that that should be held against you. Besides, a 3.00 is not that bad.
