When is the best week to do a 4d scan?
Hi, I am 20 weeks and since I do not have anymore scans I would love to get a 4d done? Also Im not sure how much it costs? Although that does not really situation. What are the best dates to do this?
I had one done at 27 weeks and it was brilliant. Where I go it cost from lb95-lb160 depending on how long the scan was.
I guess the cost would depend on where on earth you live. Im in Melbourne, Australia - and I am looking at about $250-$350 depending on the extent of what I want done.
Im looking at having one done when im 25/26 weeks.that bearing I get a clearish photo of bubs...

Answers: They say between 26 and 34 weeks, the best window man 28 to 32.
I had mine done at 28 weeks (its my profile pic!), and it was fab, although baby kept covering his facade with his arms and legs, and no amount of coersing would move him. We got lots of nice profile shots and a dvd but only get a couple of seconds where she managed to take the front of his face without his hands mortal there.
This is a common problem with the scan, and the sonographer cannot be held responsible for an awkwardly positioned baby.
But they do try their best and I did get a couple of lovely clear shots.
We went near Baby Premier, Manchester branch, and she double checked the sex, checked the anatomy, we got a 17min DVD and 6 printed photos.
I think we paid lb100, lb25 be already paid as a booking deposit.
