Baby Brandt is HERE!!?
I was walking around the fair here in my hometown Thursday hours of darkness to get labor started. I felt a couple gushes of water running into my wipe. So, I went to the bathroom and found just a white pad...but soggy similar to a diaper with a very sweet smell. Well, aparently the walking did it. I admitted myself into the hospital Thursday dark around 11:30 pm.
The nurses paged my doctor and checked my fluid to see if it was, in certainty, amniotic. It was...and next thing I know they're giving me "my room!" I'm scared at this point.this is the real deal!! I be dilated 2 cm at this time ad 80 % effaced. I had be leaking the plug for 3 days then and still at this point. They put me in my room and started me on a low dose of Pitocin. Then bumped it up 3 times...later all hell broke loose! I had never been within so much damn pain in my life! Here I be, going to try natural...HELL NO!! I asked for an epidural and it took him 4 times to get it right!! I had too much sweeling surrounded by my back from water so it wasn't easy tp put within. Once itwas though.I just chilled.
My doctor comes in around 9 the next morning and breaks my dampen. From that point on, I dilated prolly a cm an hour...or maybe even less. I was 9 cm for four hours. The baby's pave the way was transverse and he was wanting to push his should through my pelvis, along with his lead. So, my doctor calls the local surgeon to talk to me about forceps, vacuum and c-sections. He said he would a bit try the forceps to turn the baby around before getting a c-section.
Next thing I know, my foot are in the stirrups and there are like 10 doctors surrounded by the room. I lay down and he puts the forceps in and I can feel the baby move as he pulls him adjectives the way out while I push like 2 times. HURT LIKE HELL!! I felt approaching if I pushed anymore that my insides would fall out.lol. Once he came out...they layed him on my chest...and it was adjectives worth it. Baby and me both had fevers so they took him away for a couple of hours to get him calmed down. He's impeccably fine :o)
I wake up the next morning to excruciating pain contained by my buttocks area. I asked my doctor what they did. Apparently, I had to have an episiotomoy. They cut a 3-inch gash and a tiny one down to my rectum.talk about pain!
All within all, it was all worth it and I'm sooooo contained by love with my little boy!

Congratulations! Got the cut too and a hemmroid the size of my daughters leader...LOL. As for the epidural...that was like the best invention on Earth. Unfortunatley they couldn't get mine right any and I'm still having trouble with my right leg being numb from my knees to thigh (sometimes it gives out so I have to be concious and careful when I walk). Even still, when they plopped my daughter on my deflated stomach next to all her goo it really was allll worth it. She cried and I cried and we looked at each other resembling "oh my God what just happened". 2 weeks later we still just stare at respectively other. Congratulations again and enjoy that baby boy of yours :-))
