Question going on for my mucous plug?

Hello, here goes. On Wednesday morning I went to the bathroom and wiped away a long string of gooey stuff beside a little bit of old blood in it. I assumed this be my Mucous plug and moved on, but I still kept getting discharge with old blood in it at lowest possible till later morning. Anyway, it quit until the next morning more discharge with dried blood surrounded by it and then the next morning. Then last hours of darkness I go to the bathroom and wipe away more snot like substance, but this time it was pink beside a little red in it. Is this still my mucous plug? Oh yeah, this morning I still have for a time bit of blood tinged discharge, but not as much as before. I did ask my doctor about it on Thursday and he wasn't concerned but how long should I tell him around it again if it keeps up. I am 37 weeks so I am full term. Thank you.

It sounds similar to you've lost your mucous plug - nothing to be alarmed about.
this is so normal and u can even still go and get this after the birth too
