How enjoy I gain so much bulk?

Im 36 weeks pregnant and have a perfect sized bump (measuring on target every week) I haven't put any weight on my legs/bum. Slightly larger hips, my facade has filled out a bit and my boobs are massive!! But I have already put on 34lb. I don't see how tho because I honestly don't look podgy, just pregnant and healthy.
during pregnancy your blood volume increases by 40-50% and you have plenty of water retention! each breast gain about one pound and the babies weight...add it adjectives up and it makes sense! your weight is fine dont worry and you said yourself that you dont look stout! most women lose 20 pounds as soon as they give birth so look forward to that. oh and i want you to know that my sister gained 100 pounds when she was pregnant near my niece (it was crazy) and lost all of it within 3 months of have her by running and dancing so if you are conserned with post pregancy work out a lot and the pounds will decline off :) good luck
I know how you feel. I honestly suggest they are "magic pounds" because I'm 2 days overdue with my final weight gain man 45lbs and I don't know how. Sure I look huge right now but not 45 lbs!! I've been told by many mothers that there's deeply of water retention and all different kinds of fluids that supply on the pounds. But that they are lost quickly and it's the last 10-15 that you really have to work at losing. Good luck. I'm sure if you set your mind to it you'll lose it adjectives.
Because your blood has increased and because of the amniotic fluid contained by your uterus. Gaining weight is a good thing.
aww i bet your perfectly shaped for a pregnant woman. and dont you verbs because after you have your baby, you can loose the extra poundage. best wishes to you <3
Answers:    Same here. I don't have any lubricant hanging off me or anything, just a tight, round, tot bump (at 40 weeks). But I've still gained 30 lbs. You have much more blood than usual in your circulatory system. Blood and other liquid are quite heavy.

Your face and hips are in actual fact probably a bit of swelling from the water your body is retaining. Your body, esp at the end, starts to retain a ton of water and swell to know how to support more blood supply so that your body doesn't go into shock when you bleed for two to four weeks after the birth. Then, of course, by 36 weeks, you've also got 5-7 pounds for the toddler weight. It adds up quickly.

Don't verbs or feel bad. You're going to lose A LOT of it when the baby comes out and A LOT more the subsequent week or so after the birth as all that excess blood and water comes out of your body.
