EXTREMELY lightheaded splash on pregnancy try-out. Pregnant?
My husband and I have been TTC for baby #2 since the birth of July(when I had my IUD removed) I took a test today because i've been nauseated lately (didn't surface my first pregnancy) and it had one line show up right away and 5 minutes later in attendance was a very very fundamentally very faint line.. what are the luck of me being pregnant or did I jump the gun and its a false positive??

I'd enjoy to say, it depends on the brand you tested with. Do NOT trust Clear Blue Easy, only use First Response. I've have a lot of false positives and false negatives with Clear Blue Easy. I would re-test tomorrow, first urine near a First Response. Usually a faint line is a line, but within my case I thought I was pregnant a couple times which I wasn't because I was really trying to find a stripe and all I ended up seeing was the procession shadow in the back. That's how much I wanted to be pregnant. Try again is adjectives I can say.

im pretty sure u can only get false negative

The test probably showed up with a severely faint line because the HCG levels contained by your body is still low. HCG doubles every 48-72 hours. So, you can re-test around that time to see what the results are. More than likely, you are probably pregnant because it is rare to get a false positive, or it can be the IUD hormones interfering near the test. The best bet is to re-test in 3 days.
in the TTC world we other say any line is a positive line. Even a wobbly line is positive so wait a couple days and the line should receive darker. Congrats! Source(s): TTC

While ANY faint line is a positive manufacture sure you read the test within the allotted amount of time.. Usually 3-5 minutes ANYTHING after that is an inclusive assessment and you should test again... I suggest that you use a DIGITAL they are FOOL PROOF and the MOST accurate out side of the Blood Test
I would think you are pregnant, I took a try-out like that when I got pregnant with my finishing baby a very very wobbly line showed up I waited a couple weeks and took a digital test. I don't imagine you can really have a false positive test bc your body has to produce a consistent hormone that is only there when you are prego that's hormone that the examination is looking for.

The TTC gal is right any strip that shows positive is a positive. There is an extremely very very very remarkably slim chance that it is a false positive. Though they can happen it is about a .0001% arbitrariness on getting a false positive you have more of a chance on getting a false negative than anything. The HcG level in the body are what the test looks for and if those are low sometimes they don't activate the enzymes surrounded by the test appropriately for the test to read pregnant when you are, but that is a low arbitrary as well. You are probably pregnant! Congrats!
I would say you are. Faint positives, even drastically very faint, are still considered positives...I would know. You could try one of those digital tests or be in motion to the doc to get a blood test. Good luck.
your pregnant! even if the line is faint but its there and you can see it later its positive! the line hasnt got to be dark to be positive!
You hardly ever get a false positive but I'd hang around another week and test again and it should be a little darker later.

take another assessment that like a clear blue because you dont have to deal beside the lines and all of that stuff
