How to figure the age of embryo & expected date for labour?

Is the scan report gives the time from merging of the egg or age after conceive? Then how to calculate the expected date of confinement?
Answers:    age of the embryo is found through unltrasound imaging. as for the expected date of delivery, affix seven days to the last day of the mother's last time of year, and add 9 months to it. :)
