16 and want to own a babe-in-arms next to my girlfriend?
I want a baby. She is 17, and I'm 16, and idk, as odd as it sounds, I want to have a babe with her. I'm not dumb, I get A's and B's.
But I don't seem to be capable of convince her. Hell, if she doesn't want the baby, I'll look after it.
I had a crap dad, he used to trash me before he disappeared us 5 years ago. And I'm eager to see how I would be as a dad.
So any tips to convince her or on what I should do?
Thanks in advance.
you shouldnt be trying to convince her at adjectives to be having a baby this yong! if you had a bleak life as a kid then you understand and you want whats best for your child, your not gonna know how to provide and take care of your child as good as you could when your somewhat older, stable job, not going to school have to put the baby off on your parents, day exactness etc while your at school, you should really stop trying to convinve her if shes not ready your going to push you two away from each other. you can dally a couple years and be the best dad possible but for now you need to go finish highschool and draw from a job so you can be a good dad! its a whol lot more work then you guess. Source(s): 16 and 18 weeks pregnant and definatly should of waited its going to be hard, and i know it.
If you really want a baby with this girl, then you entail to wait until you are both in a position to take thinking of it.
Getting A's and B's in school does not mean you are in place to have a baby. You are probably living with your parents and I notably doubt that you have a job. So how are you going to support a child? How are you going to finish school? Have you thought nearly the costs of a baby? The first year alone usually costs around six thousand dollars. Are you ready for that?
I think that you should stop trying to convince her. I come up with that you should realize that you are way to young for this and that you need to grow up back you have a baby yourself.
The fact that you get A's and B's has nought to do with how you're viewing this situation. You're obviously very not learned to it. I'm not trying to be mean, but I am giving you a straight answer. Having a baby at 16, 17 or even under the age of 20 is extremely difficult. I've see it throughout my closest friends and family members. If you honestly and truly care just about this girl enough to want a child, and to start a family then you'll linger.
Wait until, you are done with your schooling. Since you seem bright, why not make the most of that and mortgage in a career. That way when you are in place you'll have the proper money coming in to raise a child.
Have you even thought roughly speaking how you're going to raise this kid? You're still in school, so is she. Were you going to depend on your parents relieve? Were you going to go get a min.wage job? Say goodbye to your A's and B's.
It's virtuous that you want to be a better father than your own was, but part of being a right father is being responsible. Having a child now, is not responsible.
Trying to convince your girlfriend to give you a child, though she doesn't want one is selfish and wrong.. you shouldn't try to convince her. You should understand.
Understand that now is not the time, and eventually you will hold that chance to raise a family, and be a worthy dad and if you've planned for it, you'll have everything you need-financially and more, to take care of that clan.
Having a baby, is an amazing experience. But, ask anyone; it's the hardest responsibility you'll ever have.
Do you know how hard it is to take care of a child? Think of that one...but the terrible thing is you wont know what im saying till u have one.
SLOW DOWN!
you are waaayyyyy too young to hold a baby. in order to hold a baby you need LOTS of money (im talking thousands), a stable house (with a room for the baby) and a work (not a just a part time job working at the local supermarket)
And if you have a sneaking suspicion that that you have all that stuff - whos going to look after the baby while your a work? Or arts school? You cant just expect the people around you to take precision of it for you.
So wait about 5 years until you have your energy on track.
Honestly you can't convince her to have a child she doesn't want right now. If you love her and want to have a baby by her than you a re liable to wait. She will be the one carrying it inside her and making all the decisions for it til it is born, so she get the say-so on when she gets pregnant. My advice is to mention it and if she says no consequently let it go for a while. If you keep bugging and nagging her roughly speaking it then she may leave. So be patient you'll grasp your son/daughter soon
Good Luck to the both of you :)

You have a degree to get more consequently a so-so job? Financial security? Enough money to buy a house in your dub? Enough money who buy a car (possibly 2) in your name? Enough money for newborn supplies? Enough money for mommy to stay at home with the baby, because being an developed means NOT relying on anybody else? (No-one is going to babysit for you, it's your responsbility 24-7) Do you know anything about babies? Do you have any experience?
Are you geared up to give up your friends? Your lifestyle? Your youth? Ready to miss out on experiences? Ready to sacrafice your life and time? Not to mention, is your girlfriend ready to pass up her body? All for the rest of your lives?
Have you done any exprience? Do you know what supplies cost? Do you know about the dangers of underage pregnancies? Do you know about the risks?
Do you hold the time to take your gf to the doctors? Do you have insurance to pay for medical bills? Do you hold a large back up fund incase of emergency?
Well? Do you have adjectives of those things?
Being a parent is more then just wanting a baby and wanting to out do your own father. If you really required what was best for this child, you would wait until you were an fully developed and mature enough to do so.
Not to mention, if you really loved your girlfreind, you would Never even think of have to convince her, beacuse prenancy and motherhood is a huge transformation and sacrifice. Pushing a child on her is an extremly selfish thing to do.
I hope your at least possible using condoms, and because I can see your not to be trusted, I hope she is on birthcontrol.
