I got a BFP at 16 dpo. The HCG line came up previously the control line!! Is that normal? Does it mean my level are particularly high or anything? I've just see pictures online of HPTs around 16 dpo that were faint or took several minutes to appear. I'd ask the doc but I'm not going until 8 weeks (currently 4 weeks).
Ideas? Thoughts? Any research on this?
It's the first line contained by the test, where the urine reaches first - it of late means you're pregnant.
It could be a sign of that your HCG levels are higher. one day can correct the color of the line by 5 shades. That happened with me. The hours of daylight my period was due i got positive digital trial at night. the next morning i used a regular first response test and it be fairly faint, maybe partially the color of the control line. The next morning i HAD to take another oral exam haha and it was as dark as the control line, i'd right to be heard darker. I was sooo excited. Your hcg levels dance crazy at that point in pregnancy they double every day. So bascially the same entity happened to me and i am 11 weeks and 1 day pregnant =]

Answers: it could possibly mean your hcg plane is exceptionally high, that you are farther along than you thought(conceived last month maybe?), or that you conceived multiples (as surrounded by twins =D)... but thats just a guess. i wasnt able to find any related material but congrats congrats congrats on your BFP! its such a great impression to know you have a little life growing inside of you! you wont know how to know much more until your appointment... again congrats and blessings to your lil baby! if i can find a website related ill edit and post it up for ya =D
That can be normal..it probably means that there already be a good concentration of HCG in your system..a good sign! Goodluck next to everything, hope you have a happy pregnancy!
Was it a dollar store tryout? The same thing happened to me with this pregnancy and my second pregnancy when I took a dollar store audition. I asked about this on babyfreefaq.com a few months ago and a few women had a similar experience with the test from the dollar store.
