When did you let somebody know everyone you're pregnant?
I'm not pregnant yet, but I'm wondering when you all told people you be expecting?
Did you wait until after 12 weeks to be careful? Or did you spill the beans right away?
Personally, I think that I wouldn't be capable of keep a secret that exciting from my family and friends! :)
When i missed my period for one week, i bought pregnancy test and it was simply 6 weeks. Then i started looking for the doctor
For obvious reason I told my daughter's father the day I found out (he was there at the urgent diligence when I went in because I thought my morning sickness was the flu) :D
However, I have suffered several miscarriages before my first pregnancy so I waited until 16 weeks to tell close people and friends and, just to be sure, waited until 18 weeks to tell my employer and coworkers. Obviously, I be a little gun-shy from my past experiences but it was somewhat fun (and flattering) being that far along and not having anybody notice.
As soon as I knew, my home and friends knew. I believed for the best so I wasn't about to hide my exciting communication!
I told everyone the day I took the experiment.. because I didn't want to tell just those close to me and have it acquire around and I wasn't the one to tell them. I told my boss the next day because I needed to walk to the clinic and get my pregnancy test and prenatal vitamins and set up my prenatal care.
It's totally up to you! If you miscarried in the past, I'd probably lurk, but if you have not had previous problems, tell your people and close friends.
My husband, best friend, and mom found out right away. I waited until I started dramatically showing to tell general public at work...so around16ish weeks.
It's such a long wait with so much anticipation...when I have another, I might of late wait as long as possible.
I told my parents going on for 2 minutes after getting a positive pregnancy test and the news spread like wildfire after that. I didnt linger as waiting has nothing to do with the outcome of the pregnancy. If I be meant to miscarry then it would happen whether I told anyone or not. And at tiniest by others knowing I would have the love and support behind me if something were to come to pass. If nobody knew then not only are you grieving the loss of the child, your explaining to inhabitants you were pregnant and all that too. And lastly...12 weeks does not put you in the clear. My well-mannered friend lost her baby at 15 weeks. The baby died at 9 but she didnt miscarry for 6 weeks after. I say describe people when you want to tell them and when its right for you.
My mom knew when I was 8 weeks (I'm only 17) but I made my ethnic group wait to tell anyone else until I was long-gone 13 weeks. I just didn't want everyone knowing I have miscarried if it had happen.
Answers: I have a miscarriage a month before this pregnancy, and I actually chose to tell everyone right away. I have a really hard time trying to go through the miscarriage without anyone knowing give or take a few the pregnancy. This time around I've decided that my entire family will know and if something happens consequently I'll have them to lean on. However... so far so good!
