37 weeks 1 light of day... examine more or less cervix?

I've been having a lot of headache on my cervix & pressure these past couple days. Also, the other night when my boyfriend and I had intercourse my cervix be very low. Does this mean anything? I have a gyno appt. tomorrow and hoping to be somewhat dilated or efface.
the baby is more than likely dropping and getting into position. i was 37 wks when i started notion the pains and pressures. probably only means babys getting ready and dropping to where on earth he/she needs to be.
