Losing my mucus plug?

so im 36 weeks and 4 days pregnant with baby # and two days ago i was at the doctor and dialated 1 cm. so i used the bathroom roughly 15 min ago and noticed there was blood when i wipe. i never lost my plug with my first child. could i be losing it?
It could enjoy been old blood from being checked 2 days ago.
was it bright red blood on its own?

or like a discharge next to a blood tinge to it?

if your bleeding you need to go to hospital, but if its just a pink/brown discharge its ok
