Due Date is today; but NOTHING is occurring?
Today is my due date and it;s my first pregnancy.
A girl I work with just had her child yesterday and she was due 2-3 weeks after me and this was her first pregnancy also.
But I'm not feeling anything really.
I go walking lastnight for about an hour and a half and I felt pains within my lower abs; but I've always felt them, and My lower back be hurting too. When I got home my underwear was damp so I go pee and then Changed my underwear again and there was 2 damp spots in my underwear, I called the Dr and they said to put a pad on and bid back in an hour if the pad is raining.
Also I've been having ( I know I know way TMI ) Diarrhea.
I've be walking and having sex to try and get her out but nothing is working. I'm sooooooo arranged to get her out.
Anything else I can do to bring on the contractions and labor?
MY GOD YOU ARE SCARY. YOU ARE GOING TO BE A PARENT AND YOU ARE HAVING SEX AT 9 MONTHS BECAUSE YOUR BABY HAS NOT ARRIVED ON THE DATE IT WAS SUPPOSED TO. IF THE DOCTORS WERE CONCERNED THEY WOULD HAVE TAKEN YOU INTO INDUCE YOU.
HEAVEN HELP THIS POOR CHILD. WE NEED A SYSTEM IN THIS COUNTRY LIKE THEY HAVE IN CHINA. ALL FIRST TIME MOTHERS GET TO GO TO A TEACHING CENTER FOR A MONTH WITH THEIR BABY.
It sounds approaching you're starting labor but sometimes it takes days before you will be in involved labor and will need to go to the hospital. Keep walking that always help progress labor and remember your due date is only an estimation. Your baby may not be born for another week, maybe two. If it get to 2 weeks you will be induced. Good luck, it's closer than you think.
Answers: this is normal. sometimes you can be overdue by two weeks. i had to be induced on my due date bc i have high blood pressure. if i wasnt i would have been overdue. give somebody a lift a lot of walks this helps. dont verbs about induction lol bc that takes forever. my labor lasted 28 hours!
Try spicy food, if you can tolerate it. They say raspberry tea is supposed to work.

your baby will come when shes ready. its ok if shes belatedly. try not to bring on labor.
Just be patient. Walk. Have sex. Spend time getting out of the house and have a banquet out with your husband. I know its so, so hard to wait but it could be another 2 weeks-- she'll come out when she is prepared, they don't stay in there forever!
Spicy food maybe?
Don't worry, your baby will not stay contained by there forever. Diarrhea is a good sign. I know how you might be feeling. We have to have an induction the day after her due date for medical reasons (gestational diabetes getting out of foot, large fibroid).
I wouldn't suggest that, it was VERY painful. I terminated up taking an IV painkiller and an epidural.
Keep doing what you're doing, walk walk and tramp some more.
If you are leaking (or gushing) amniotic fluid, call your provider. If you are having strong contractions five minutes apart, or you enjoy bloody show (like a period or more) call your provider.
