Is this BH or am I crazy?
I am 33 weeks pregnant, and I have been experiencing a tightening sensation in my stomache that elevate my heart rate. It doesnt hurt, but I feel like I am breathing faster, and my belly feels easier said than done as a rock with pressure. What could it be?

Could be braxton hicks, could be the real thing, best way to find out is walk to your local hospital and check in to the OB its almost time and you made need a shot to keep you from going into labor.
Answers: Yes this sounds like BH. I'm not sure about your elevated heart rate though. That is something I construe you should talk to your doc about. I had authentic contractions at 27 weeks and didn't even know it - the only reason I found out was because I have some bleeding. Once I went to LAbor and Delivery they hooked me up to monitors and found out I was contracting...I had NO clue. No dull pain at all.
My doctor told me the biggest reason for BH is dehydration so drink lots of fluids! Stay cool as well and neglected your bladder often.
If you are having BH regularly - empty your bladder, drink a voluminous glass of water and lay down on your left side. Time them and if they verbs to regular after an hour you'll need to call the doctor even if you aren't in throbbing.
