15 weeks pregnant and constant headache?
Ok so I am about 15 weeks going on 16 weeks pregnant and I have been have really bad headaches.. they are constant and nothing seem to help. Prior to this pregnancy if I my head hurt I would drink some water and it would be in motion away, but water doesn't even help and the Tylenol I can take DOES NOT HELP any..so what could be causing this and what else can I do to relieve these...its keeping me from getting anything done...I am sitting here and my head is hurting and its always within the front left temple and its getting to me... I have never had headache like this before! any advise or assist would be great! Thanks!
Its mostly just hormones that are making your head hurt. Try lay down with a cold rag or ice pack on your herald.
Talk to your doctor or midwife they should be able to prescribe something that is stronger than tylenol which is undisruptive to take during pregnancy
Answers: It could be one of three things that are causing this. First is high blood pressure, in you second trimester as a rule your blood pressure will drop, but if you are in the beginning stages of pre-elampsia this could be the first sign.
Second it could be because of the extra blood flow in your obverse and head. Your body increases is blood production during pregnancy and can cause uncomfortable symptoms close to headaches and nose bleeds.
Third is simply good antiquated hormones can increase things like migraine head aches.
Talk to your doctor so you can rule out the possibility of pre-eclampsia and beyond that, a dismal room, cool wash cloth, and Tylenol are your only options... Sorry, I grain your pain.
