are you aloud to drink water during the hour wait for the glucose test . im getting the papers for it on monday and merely wanted to know if you are aloud too? and im too curious to wait till monday to find out if i can
After you drink the sugar water they offer you...you cant drink or eat anything not even water. Good Luck!

I have breakfast as normal that day and went surrounded by, in the morning.
I had to drink the glucose within 5 mins and for the subsequent hour had to stay at the clinic, i was allowed to go to the bathroom and drink river.
This was only a few months ago xxx
Answers: My doctor told me not to drink anything a couple hours before. He also told me not to chomp through anything for 12 hours before I got my blood drawn.
