I'm have brown discharge at 34weeks of pregnancy?

I had the stomache flu and went to labor and delivery and found i be contracting, so they gave me aa shot to stop it and sent me home, befor that i was having white to night light brown discharge and was told its narmal, since i had the flu i started cramping and my discharge increased and turned dark brown i don't know if i'm losing my mucus plug or not and every time i'm told its majority without being checked or evan checked for dilation, I'v been foreboding abdomanal cramps and in my hips some times my back, its been going on for a week. should i lately go in and throw a fit to been see to make shure its normal or wait it out

Answers:    did you hold an internal exam done with the speculum or did you have intercourse in the later 24 to 48 hours that could be the cause otherwise id at least appointment labor and delivery if not go up nearby but i would at least call good luck
