I own be on Depo Provera shot for a year presently, am I preggers?
I know that the Depo shot it like 99.9999% accurate, but still I have read of women still getting pregnant. I haven't used a condom since I got the shot primarily (only have had 1 partner ever.) Lately I've been enormously tired, going pee more than usual (middle of the night and I never used to), sometimes i get dizzy, and lately I've been getting headache more, oh and like today I ate around 7pm and was hungry like I didn't chomp through all day by 10pm. I'm very twitchy about being pregnant, what do you think the possibility is?
Take a home pregnancy test.
No one here will be able to tell you anything differently.
If the oral exam comes up negative, then I would schedule an appointment near your doctor. You might have the flu or an infection.
well thats how i am rite now,and im just a 15 year outdated
take a pregnency test that will help, that what im going to do,
worthy luck
Answers: Depo is scandalous for causing pregnancy symptoms, so it's unlikely, however take an HPT at your first opportunity to find out for sure! IF you are PG, depo provera increase the risk of it being ectopic by something approaching 3x, so you'll want to get to a doctor ASAP if you are PG.
If you would ever LIKE to become PG (even a few years from now), you may wish to rethink this contraceptive choice. Firstly, depo shouldn't be used for more than 2 years unless NOTHING else works for you (and after 2 years, you need to enjoy regular bone density checks, which some countries are now stopping because 'it's not important' even though it clearly is!) and it can cause future infertility...I know: I'm living it!
