ATV's during pregnancy?

I know this is probably a big No but i thought I would ask anyways. I am 23 weeks pregnant and I was wondering if it would be safe to ride a 4 wheeler today..? Since it is Saturday I can't call the doctor and this is a spur of the moment variety of thing with my friends. What if I took it extremely easy? Nothing nifty, nothing too bumpy?
Sorry to ruin the fun but it's a big no!
I wouldn't risk it. My fiance's only source of transportation is a motorcycle and I was told unquestionably no and he is extra careful all the time. So, needless to right to be heard, I can't go anywhere with him anymore unless a friend drives. A slight bump could cause problems for you on one of those things. Even the most wise person is going to go bump at some point... let's not let that be today. :)
just play it safe the only point why they dont like pregnant women to ride is the risk of falling and bumps that could knock your placenta off but if you play it safe resembling i always do there should not be a problem
No, that isn't sheltered at all to do while pregnant. It is bumpy, they can flip, and it could probably put you into preterm labor.

I would avoid atv's until after your baby arrives.

I rode ours lately a few days before I had my daughter!
If you have a commonplace, healthy pregnancy than its fine. But you want to be very careful. And bumps are out of the interrogate. So have fun and do be very careful...
Not recommended. I be set to if you take a sharp turn and fall off you could take out your baby. And bumby roads should be avoided because it can cause preterm labor.

I wouldnt do it because your baby is worth alot more afterwards one good ride on a atv! Source(s): 33 weeks pregnant with a baby girl
I would utter no! Atv's are dangerous. You nver know what could happen. Better safe than sorry!
I'd agree to this. You should know the answer to this. Unless you are going to jump 1 MPH. Wait till after the baby. What's more important right now ask yourself.
you should already know the answer to this.
Answers:    My sister rides an ATV nearly every day to get the post (3/4 mile to her mailbox). Even road, steady speed, not a problem. If you take it slow and easy that is fine, but will your FRIENDS do that? Unless you are on the ATV yourself controlling the speed, forget it. A tipover could create considerable injury and now is not the time to get that. Given your age and the likely age of your friends, I would right to be heard no because twentysomethings really do not get that they could injure you and your baby. Everything is fast, briskly, fast.
you're a Bro ho.
