Experince beside NFP as birth control?

I'd like to know good and bad of ancestors who have used NFP as a means of birth control. Also which method did you use?

Answers:    I used my bbt for two years as birth control before ttc and never get pregnant..I bought a pearly (google it or baby-comp)

Of course now I've also been actively trying to conceive for 16 months so I suppose there is a slight uncertainty that's why I never got pregnant even back then...but I doubt it!
