What effects does a yeast infection own on pregnancy?
I'm four months pregnant, and recently my doctor diagnosed me with a yeast infection. I took the medicine exactly approaching I was told, but I think it didn't fully take perfectionism of the problem. What effects does a yeast infection have on the pregnancy?
nothing really. i have them. its a common thing during pregnancy. your mucous plug is blocking everything from the outside of it from getting to your baby. anything that enter your vagina wont hurt your baby.
medicine for yeast infections wont hurt unborn babies either. Just help it the pain in the butt itching and burning...
if you took it for as long as you should have and it did not step away, id go back to the doc and enjoy him prescribe you some more. you dont want to walk around with an itching and burning vag. its very irritating lol. especially when you are huge and something like to have your baby. and are already sore from other things.
Yeast infections are common for a lot of pregnant women. This can be scary if you don’t generally get yeast infections. Most yeast infections don’t have a major impact on pregnancy, but any time your body isn’t thriving, your baby has the potential to not be as healthy as in good health. Most women find that it takes 10 to 14 days for a yeast infection to completely clear up during pregnancy instead of the normal 5 to 7 days. Source(s): http://www.yeastinfectionpage.com/causes…
