Is 12 weeks too hasty?
When I went for an ultrasound at 12 weeks, the doctor told me the gender of the baby. Is it really possible to narrate that early?
they can tell but as people influence they are not 100% sure until the 20 week scan where the genitals will be fully formed Source(s): 20 weeks preg with lil girl EDD 12/12
yep it definetly is possible at 12 weeks my ultrasound tech said girl and sure enough i have a girl. at 12 weeks you cant see boy/girl parts so they measure the genatilia tube.

yes its possible, but not 100% sure. So just dont go out and pick out blue or pink for your baby. Are you going to gain another US around 20 weeks or so? thats when you should get excited.
way too precipitate as before at least 15-20 weeks they look alike and girls have things that look basically like male parts so they can be easily confused. at 20 weeks they are mode more developed.

EDIT: seriously 16 weeks is still a bit early,the place i go wont even furnish you an ultrasound to find out the gender till at least 18 weeks.its nice that your eager but you may acquire a wrong answer,better to wait and get an accurate one.
