How plentiful weeks am i pregnant, can anyone work it out please?
I had my last period on the 7th July, i did a pregnancy assessment (clear blue digital on wednesday 5th august and it said pregnant 1-2 weeks. The doctor then said im 4 weeks how is this digital test so wrong if it is?
If 4 weeks is right, when will i be due?
honestly i'm not sure. i wouldn't want to guess at something like that and be wrong. your best bet is to ask your doctor. he'll know the exact date. i would take the doctors answer over any home pregnancy check. a person is more advanced.
i didnt know store bought home tests could tell you how far along you were... cool i guess. but psyche go with what the doc said. when did the doc tell you that? lug that day, go back 4 weeks and count 9 months from "date of conception" or anything, and you'll have a rough estimate. but for a real answer, you really will just enjoy to wait til you have your first sonogram, then the doc will explain to you. and the EARLIER you have the sonogram the better, it'll be easier to tell how old the babe is and you'll get a more accurate date of conception and due date, though my due date changed twice before they decided...

Doctors use a gestational wheel, which is just a calendar. the assessment is detecting the hormone hCG. Using the level of the hormone, instead of your last menstration as the due date "prediction". Go by what your doctor say. They own been much more accurate for WAY longer.

If you read the pack of this test it explains that you add two weeks to the number of weeks given on the eyeshade, in order to follow the week that drs use.

If you think about it, when you're "1-2 weeks" pregnant, you aren't really pregnant at all. Week 1 is the week of your time of year. Week 2 is ovulation. Week 3 is when your egg is fertilized, travels down the fallopian tubes, and implants in the uterus. Week 4 is when you miss your first period, your egg is severely embedded in your uterus, your placenta starts to develop, and your homones start going crazy. You aren't really pregnant until week 3, which probably explains why your test say 1-2 weeks.
