Should I keep hold of my toddler?
I've just taken a home pregnancy test, because I was delayed for my period by 5 days. The thing is I've just have a major operation and thought I couldn't possibly be pregnant. My partner and I were hardly trying. Ive have 2 xrays, blood thinning needles for a week now. Been taking endone for pain relief, be on morphene in hospital..
My baby would die wouldn't it?
My partner and I were trying for babe-in-arms a month before my operation so I wouldn't have to have an operation but turns out im very soon pregnant. We would love to keep it, but are worried it'll be brain dead. I have a docs appt at 1:30 today. Just looked-for to hear your advice.

Oh dear, what can I say. Just have faith and pray for the best, near are test that can be done to check for defects, mine is on monday cos I also lost my son, he was born near brain abnormalities, etc so the dr wants to check for any defects , I guess we'll dance from there. I wish you the best.

yes keep the little one, it will miscarry if there is a genetic abnormality or it cannot function as a baby, esp if it is going to be brain dead it will miscarry, it would be better on your form if you let nature take its course and if it wasnt intended to be then miscarry, having an abortion can leave defect tissue behind in your uterus, making it hard for another child to implant there as well as abortion sometimes give some people fertility issues later on when they try to conceive, since you say youre solitary 5 days late, the baby is still in the origination stages, so most likely what you are taking may not affect it at all, the only concern might be the blood thinners but the babe-in-arms is still a tiny zygote so it wouldnt have its own blood supply yet... good luck though :)
yes if u want to make ur child happy if u do present it away u will have the guilt on u the rest of ur life
