Anytime...I went into labor less than 24 hrs after I lost my plug. CONGRATS & GOOD LUCK!!
It does not break, it can be lost.
It also can be regrown as many times as necessary so loosing it means nought about how impending labor is - it's just snot, it's nothing more consequently snot.
