How much does it hurt to hold contractions during labor?

that depends on a few things,
pain tolerance,
where you labor pains occur,
if you own an epidural,
if you have pain medicine,
if you use crude pain control methods.
I had a natural labor. I have one pain shot 6 hours before I delivered and the rest of the time I used my breathing to control the anguish. It is really hard but I suggest being able to touch where the baby is putting pressure because it makes it easier to know what muscles to use to push. If you can't quality anything you are shooting blind. No matter what childbirth is painful it all depends on how prepared you are.
Answers: Well, i fell down the stairs and dislocated my hip. They say the pain for that is equal to labor pains and i can notify ya...it HURT BAD!

Well it's different for everyone and it depends on if you hold medication such as an epidural. They didn't hurt to bad until I was dilated to a 7 and then I get my epidural and I was smiling all the way through the conferral.
