Is it common for a sneeze to hurt while pregnant?
I'm 19 weeks along today! Ever since like week 9 I have found myself to sneeze a lot more than back. Not sure if its from congestion or what. I sneeze at least once a day, sometimes more. Deal is..when I sneeze it hurts. Sneezing has become a dreaded chore. LOL
When I sneeze my stomach hurts, but esp my lower tummy. I'm not sure if its cause thats where she is sitting. ( Ultrasound last Friday determined not solely a girl, but a low sitting girl..her back was right up against my spine, she was looking straight at us, but her hips and legs be very, very low. Even the tech seemed surprised at how low she is). Also, everytime I sneeze I pee a lil bit...but that may be because she is constantly kicking my bladder and a sneeze forces her to more? IDK...basically a guess.
Anyways, is it normal for a sneeze to hurt while pregnant? Anything I can do to minimize the pain? have any of you experienced this in the past?
LOL I hope so! It hurts me every time. I feel like I broke something surrounded by my belly!

When you feel approaching you have to sneeze, try and turn to your side or kinda bend over a tad.
Answers: This same thing happens to me when I am pregnant. I asked my doctor about it and he told me that this be normal. He even called it something, but I can't think for the go of me what he called it. If I figure it out I will let you know! But yes- it is commonplace and it sucks!
Peeing when you sneeze is normal as well during pregnancy. This is called stress incontinence, and you are correct- it is from the pressure on your bladder cause by your baby. That should go away after your pregnancy. Do kegal exercises every day to strengthen the nouns down there. This can help prevent incontinence later contained by your pregnancy.

Since i be about 7 weeks i feel like every time i sneeze i achieve this ripping pain in my lower abdomen.
