Can you ride rollercoasters at 16weeks pregnant?
I am 16weeks pregnant and I plan to go to an amusement park this weekend. Is it safe for me to ride roller-coasters? If not what about rides that don't go into spasm?
i rode rides just not crazy ones that go really fast or jolt...just make sure you dont let them tighten any bar on your belly...other than that ride calm rides
Well every single roller coaster I've ever been on (which is ALOT since I was born in Orlando, FL) have a notice posted at the front that says "DO NOT RIDE IF PREGNANT".. so obviously not.
It's really not the smartest belief to plan to go to an amusement park when you're pregnant... why would you do that?

What makes them dangerous is that you're putting yourself at risk for placental abruption! You can deeply shake your placenta right off your uterine wall and that will definitely cause you to miscarry the pregnancy!
When I was pg and going to Disney, my OB said that the danger is from the restraints pressing into your abdomen. Avoid anything that have a restraint that crosses your stomach.
i am 13 weeks and i clutch my kids to the amesement parks all the time but can not get on any rides. its not safe and the rides enjoy a do not ride if you are prgnant sign, even the small smooth rides it sucks but its not a good idea. even rides i would put my 4 year old on, the signs still voice no riding if your pregnant
I rode a rollercoaster at 12 weeks and miscarried. they say not to ride if pregnant. swinging ship is fine... mellow rides
Um if i be you I woulnt ride anthing that could poosibly rattle you to much, amusment parks are not really for pregant people.. but check with your doc on what would be out of danger if anything for you to ride.
Answers: I rode a couple of rides/rollercoasters and waterslides @ Kings Dominion when I was 12 weeks pregnant with my son. I also rode some rides/rollercoasters @ Busch Gardens when I was 17 weeks pregnant beside my daughter. They turned out perfectly fine. I think it's why they like to be upside down so much. The rides I rode be steel rides so they weren't really rough like wooden ones. I wouldnt reccommend getting on rides if you are busting out with baby close to anything past 5 months. When you are in the beginning of pregnancy they are pretty protected inside of you. I am sure within are alot of women that dont know they are pregnant that ride.

No,no and no. That would be very dangerous. I honestly would stay away from 95% of the rides. And even go as far as to ask the human being who runs the ride,would they let their pregnant sister or close friend ride this,if not,then stay far away!! And..most rides will hold a warning on them,don't ride if you are pregnant,otherwise,just use common sense.

okay let me tell you my sisters story.We went to disneyland when she be 8 months pregnant.We use to go all the time and she was dying to turn.We got her a wheelchair and took all precautions.We were getting primed to leave and all she wanted to ride be the "autopia cars." IDK if you have been to disneyland but they are just little cars you drive around a track. So the folks working the ride were crazy about not wanting her to go but she go anyway with my little sisters car in front and my saloon in the back so no one would run into her. She go super slow and we laughed about it.My niece was born the NEXT light of day! lol to this day we joke about those darn autopias lol. We enjoy no idea if they had anything to do with it. But I would definetely not ride any rollercoasters while pregnant.Maybe close to a merry-go-round lol. oh BTW my niece is a very healthy 6 year old lol
