Just found out i am pregnant 5 days ago. when should i stir contained by for first appt?
the receptionist at my obgyn's office gave me appt for Aug 5th because she said i would be in my 7th week,but i ovulated on july 7th so really on aug 5th i will be 4 weeks. is that too impulsive to go in to SEE heartbeat flickering on ultrasound?
no you would be 7 weeks. they count from the first day of your last term. so it would be two weeks before you ovulated (typically). yea i saw my babies heart beat at 6 weeks, but that is adjectives you see is a tiny sack and a little flicker. good luck and congrats!
Aug 5 is a good time to go within for the initial appointment, to get weighed, pap test, blood work, answer a ton of question, and ask any questions you may have, etc...but you might not be able to see or hear a heart lick yet. Don't worry if you can't. My cervix was fairly thick until about 11 weeks, that's when I finally got to hear my little ones heart slaughter for the first time,
