Can you enjoy a home birth if you enjoy blood pressure problems?
I've had blood pressure problems before and wanted to know when I do become pregnant, would elevated blood pressure prevent you from have a home birth or use a birthing center? I've never had children before and thought of the option of have a home birth or giving birth at a birthing center instead of the hospital. If the risk is too high then I would have a regular hospital birth. I would approaching to get answers from midwives and nurses and their opinion on what would be the best decision.
think it would depend on how high your bp gets, if its lone slightly high you may be able to try a birthing center, i would find a midwife you want to take perfectionism of you during the pregnancy and get their take on it since they would have experience on how things might progress, but sometimes its a skulk and see deal, since there is no way to definitly relate if your bp would be high or not
birthing centers would definitely take you, but home birth would not be the best outcome, unless you can find one in your area that has deal with high blood pressure patients in former times, I had high bp with my first, but the doctor said this is adjectives. My doc. is working with me to keep my bp down and it has worked! I am 25 weeks along and my bp today be 115 over 70!
You'd need to natter to your doctor, but,if it were me. I would not. If I had health problems, that could surrounded by turn up the risk for my baby not being delivered soundly. I would opt for a hospital birth.
high blood pressure will put you in the dignified risk pregnancy group! so home birth is out of the question! but when you do fall pregnant do discuss it with your midwife! i be high risk qith my 3rd as id had a stillborn near my 1st but i still was allowed a home birth and my daughter was born brilliantly! like i said discuss beside your midwife they can give you better odds etc!
Answers: Home birth is not a fitting idea in case at hand is an emergency. Take good care of yourself throughout pregnancy and ask doctor about adjectives you can do to keep bp as low as you can.
Birthing center could be an option.
Some hospitals have programs as in good health where you can have similar birth with individual your midwife and a dim comforatable room, but also there are drs right down the hall just within case.
Keep this conversation up with your doctor and ask a lot of question and i'm sure you two can figure out something you'll both be comfortable with. Nothing is more important than the sanctuary of you and your baby.
