What does it have it in mind if my (unborn) toddler weigh more than the average babe-in-arms?

I just had my first ultrasound at 14 weeks and I was told that my kid weighs 4 oz. Books and websites say that a baby of that age should be more around 2 oz except a little less.
Does this mean I own a fat baby? And is that a normal occurance? I'm impressively confused I'd really appreciate any input. (Obviously this is my first pregnancy.)

Thank you so much for your help!
I be wondering the same thing when I went to the doctors and they told me my babe-in-arms was about 9 oz. but books and such said she would be about 7-8. It's not a big difference, but an interesting grill.
It probably means that your due date is off, but all babies grow at different rates and babies don't start to go to fat until after the 20th week--so it's not that. Your due date could be off or it could just be your baby's mode of growing--maybe he or she will grow quickly now and slow down later. The sizes nominated in books and magazines are just averages and estimates, and as long as your doctor isn't worried you're fine.
Answers:    Ultrasounds arent very accurate. I had my scan at 18 weeks and they said that she measured 2 weeks bigger than average, but when i raise the issue with my midwife she said since my first was bigger than average (8lb 10oz) its nothing to verbs about. Also with my first they said he felt pretty small/average size and wouldnt be more than 7lb 8ozish! boy they be wrong
