36 weeks pregnant and be wondering if any of you ...?
before you go to bed and when you wake up... you get the impression like you have a dry dry mouth and a stuffed up nose? It have been happening to me for about a week immediately, and I know I don't have a cold or am sick. I drink plenty of fluids, its just weird to touch like this and was wondering if any of you have experienced this formerly?? I appreciate the answers!! Thanks!
Yes. I always, always, other need to bring a glass of water to bed beside me. I wake up and sip it all the time. However, this very morning I woke up and for the first time I enjoy a very dry mouth despite my sipping, and my nose feels drastically stuffed up, as if I'm about to get the flu.
I've heard flu symptoms are also symptoms of approaching labor. But, I highly doubt that is true. Haha. Oh well.
I know where on earth you're coming from, but I feel the same way, girl.
It sounds like you're for a while dehydrated. It's very easy to procure dehydrated during pregnancy. I know you feel like you're drinking satisfactory, but what was "enough" before you were pregnant is no where on earth near enough during pregnancy. You should be drinking over 1/2 gallon of water every morning! All of your fluids and nutrients are being pulled to your baby before your body can use them.
Try drinking two big specs of water before bed.
Good luck! You don't have much longer to travel. Source(s): Labor and delivery nurse
Answers: YES! I am 33 weeks pregnant with triplets so I am almost considered full term with triplets and it seem like in the last few weeks I hold a head cold at night or something. I wake up and own so much phlegm and snot, I have to blow my nose for an hour to be able to breath and my mouth is super dry.
When you are pregnant your blood flow increases and it cause your sinuses to slightly swell and makes your very congested. I was approaching this my WHOLE first pregnancy too... Hang in there, it wont be much longer!
