"bloody show"?! what does it truly tight-fisted and hold I have one?
I'm Due on Tuesday... I don't know when labour will start unfortinatly nobody ever does... but all day today I've feel my little boy really low down head butting my "fanny bone" but it's like a sharpe quick misery so I don't know if it is him head butting me or an early sign of labour but when I get in from my walk I went to the toilet and notice I had a bleed but it wasn't a mucus plug that the midwife was on about (pinkish goey stuff) it be like period blood but it was singular very light. I don't know what to make of it as it say nothing in my baby books just about a period like bleed that is immensely light. Is it a bloody show or something else? anyone else get this? if so when did your labour start after have this? Thanks Jessica.
When I get my bloody show I freaked out. I was actually at the hospital but wasn't expecting anything close to what I got. It's slimy gross and alot of blood. The nurses thought I be crazy when I called them in for it, i thought there be something wrong. It's going to be alot though!
Good Luck!
i'm due on tuesday too!
i haven't had my bloody show but i've had deeply of mucus plug coming out of me and today my son has been head butting my vagina too lol a few times today i've have to bend over because the pain literally forced me down.
let's hope this is labor for us and yes i do believe this could be the start of your labor?
congrats and good luck with everything! :)
It sounds to me like it is a 'show' mine was very similar, close to a period..It is a little bit gooey!! also if u had something similar a couple of weeks ago and your midwife said it be your cervix shifting then during that time is enough for it to soften and come away.. Very adjectives also to get backache too..dont think you will be long so good luck. My toil started straight after a show but i had a membrane sweep as was over due. If you're at all concerned ring your midwife..Good luck
It sounds like you are having exactly what I had next to my first. I never "saw" my mucus plug, just the light period stuff you described. With mine, the blood started on a Tuesday. The subsequent day, Wednesday, I had light contractions on and stale all day--nothing major, but I knew something be happening. By
Thursday morning I was having material contractions and my baby was born Thursday night.
If you are due contained by a few days, it sounds like this is the real thing! Make sure your midwife/doctor know about the blood.
FYI, "real" contractions come at regular intervals and they really are more intense. You will need someone else to write down when they come and just sit near you, because you won't be able to concentrate. Just tell him/her what you're feeling and permit them worry about timing and intervals. GOOD LUCK! Try to relax and have your hubby or whoever rub your legs from your thighs down to your feet--not up your legs--and that might backing you relax.
Answers: My bloody show was exactly like that (like period kind) but I have passed the plug 5 days earlier. Keeping in mind that you may have passed your plug but only not noticed it (like when you were going to the toilet).
I would call your doctor or the hospital and ask their suggestion (or go and get checked out). They should be able to relate you what is happening!
