Only the sac at 5 weeks?
my friend just found out shes 5 weeks pregnant but there was no tot on the ultrasound there was onlt the sac.. is that normal at 5 weeks? i found out i be pregnant at 6 weeks and i was able to hear the heartbeat and everything so i was a moment ago woundering!
Yes, 5 weeks is very early. A lot of developing can start in just a weeks time. When I was 8 weeks they still could singular see sac and no baby or heartbeat. Scared us to death! We came rear one week later and there was our little newborn with it's heart beating away.
That's all within should be. Some women still only have a sac when they are 6 weeks pregnant. A heartbeat can be picked up as early as 6 weeks but isn't guranteed until 8 weeks. The same near hearing the heartbeat, you can hear it as early as 8 weeks but because every woman, and baby is different you may not hear it until 14 weeks.
Yup, exactly what was see at my first ultrasound which was 5 weeks. They didn't even show me, just told me.
When I was 9 weeks they didn't see anything. Then when I went pay for two weeks later I had a heartbeat and a baby and everything else. It a moment ago depends on the person and the pregnancy I guess. Because with my other two I had signs of enthusiasm before 9 weeks.
Techincally yes, because if she is 5weeks pregnant gestational age, that would imply that she really only is 3weeks pregnant. So there is not much room so see anything besides the sac which is a good entry. I dont believe you can hear or see a heartbeat until 8 or 9 weeks, so in your case you were lucky. Tell your friend not to verbs, shouldn't the doctor have told her that everything looks fine?
that's normal!! i go for one at 5 weeks 5 days and there was a pole with a sac and the heart have just started to beat! Source(s): 17w6d
Answers: Five weeks could be way too early. I know a girl who is having twins & at 6 weeks they saw nought on the ultrasound. A week later they were there =]
As for the party who mentioned a blighted ovum, that cannot be diagnosed so early. I had one last April that be discovered at 9 weeks but not diagnosed until 10 weeks at which point I had to have a d&e.
She probably has a blighted Ovum and at some point will enjoy to have a D&C.
