11 weeks pregnant and thirsting?
My lips are so chapped that when I lick them I taste blood but theres no red to indicate blood and im worried no matter how much fluids I try to drink (water or liquid, mainly water) it still doesn't hydrate me cause my lips are extremely chapped I surface tired and my urine is a kind of darker yellow. what should I do? keep hold of drinking fluids or go to the hospital to get an IV of fluids in me gratitude
Are you using your lips as the main indicator of dehydration? How are you so convinced you are?
Keep drinking if you can. Stick only near drinks that lack caffeine, as this can make dehydration worse.
Tiredness is a normal chunk of pregnancy, even early-on. But if you think it's more-so than it should be, you should get to a doctor or the E.R., as you might have an underlying condition going on.
What characteristics of fluids are you drinking? If it's energy drinks/coffee/etc., of course you'll be dehydrated. If it's river, how much are you drinking? The average is about 64 oz. per day (plus whatever wet you get from the foods you eat. If you're dehydrated, it can mess near your baby's level of amniotic fluid and *possibly* put him/her in distress if it goes untreated.
If your orifice are that dry and your urine is dark and you're drinking enough fluids, you need to jump to the hospital because something else is probably wrong.
get iv fluids. you also need to be checked for any other condition relating to dehydration.

its only just the normal pregnacty symptoms. use chapstick and keep drinking water. you and your child need to be hydraged. dont drink too much juice, because it may be what is dehydrating you. keep drinking marine, and keep applying chap stick.
I would call my doctor first, tell her whats going on and see what she say. Or go visit her/him.

Answers: Definitely keep drinking fluids and call your OB in the morning first article...even try pedialyte or powerade or something with electrolytes in it. You're obviously have some sort of malabsorption problem and possibly kidney problems. But, if right now, the only symptom you have is chapped chops, you'll survive until morning :) If you pinch your skin and it stays peaked when you let go, then you want IV fluids and should go to the hospital tonight.
