I call for your back, today is my due date..?
Today is my due date & i am MORE than ready for this baby. I was have regular contractions yesterday/last night they were getting more & more painful & they be staying pretty constant. They ended up being about 10 minutes apart for a while & be even awakening me. Well then I took my Ambien (which the ER Dr prescribed for sleep since i wasnt sleeping) & when i woke up this morning im not really having contractions anymore. Now I am really swelled up & i am just miserable. Do you usually swell right in the past labor? I was a little swollen before, but very soon (especially my face) im HUGE. Could this mean labor is coming/ Also how do i get the contractions to come back?

you swell up a few weeks befor your due date around your date women do tend to swell up abit more some dont you will get contractions but they could end for a few days or false labour pains (braxton hicks) there is no way to seize contractions back your self old wives tales do not work trust me the solitary way you will be going into labour is that you will naturally start or be induced which happen 10 days after your due date, i was a week over due and just went fluently wish you all the luck for when your time comes hope this give you some feathery on your question
I delivered my son two weeks late and believe me, I felt a short time ago like you are feeling now. Contractions become closer and closer together instead of purely staying constant. You can try walking, but that didn't help me. Your baby likes it surrounded by there : ) Also, if you pass your mucus plug, that is a sure sign that he/she is coming soon. Once I passed mine, I be in labor the next morning. (Every pregnancy is different, so what worked or didn't work for me might or might not work for you.) Good luck. Source(s): Experience
Answers: Hi, I took black cohosh when this happened to me and within an hour my contractions started again and I was within active labor and dilated to 8 4 hours later and had him a few hours after that.
You can go and get it from any healthfood store or vitamin store, I bought the liquid form and the directions were to put 4-5 drops into a bottle of water. It be very simple and then I walked around the shopping arcade until I couldn't anymore. Good luck and yes swelling is a sign of labor progressing.
