Natural child labor doesn't require epidural?
Why is it some women become so offended when another woman says they had innate child labor no drugs or epidural? They get even more mad when you say it wasn't so impossible.
Ive had natural child labor and it only hurts for a while its not similar to its going to hurt forever. But whenever I say that most woman get mad? Is it me or am I the one and only one who feels this way?
No.. I think that a woman's body knows what it's supposed to do to deliver a tot.. giving birth has been aroudn since the begining of time and epidurals are a fairly unsullied thing.
I am planning on having this baby beside no drugs.. It can be done & just being closed minded and saying you're getting an epidural no concern what is just crazy to me lol.. THAT makes me angry.. that women today dont' have ample faith in their bodies to give birth & dont' even want to try.. they a moment ago already decided they were getting an epidural before they even know what labor will be resembling!
Every woman's labor experience is different. I felt like I was going to die of twinge, but at the same time, I wouldn't trade my experience for the world. I labored for a total of 34 hours and pushed for two. I think the reason some women bring mad when you say it wasn't so bad is because it might nouns as though you are minimizing THEIR labor experience. Labor and childbirth can be a very traumatic experience. Mine was a bit on the traumatic/dramatic side, but it doesn't really make me nutty to hear about other women's experiences. Am I jealous of those who can do it without drugs and two pushes and the tot is out? You bet! Would I be mad if another woman acted judgmental when I told her about my experience? Yes! Perhaps when you tell population it wasn't so bad, they think you are judging them for need drugs. I'm not saying that you are, but it might come off that way, or they are projecting their own judgment of themselves onto you, if that makes sense.

i get offended because some people deed like just because i got an epidural that system that i didnt really go thru labor i was in labor and for 16 hours and pushed my child out of me in recent times like every other mom. and even my mom acts like i didnt really shift thru labor you cause i got an epidural im sorry i didnt stay in headache for 16 hours but i still went thru labor .
I think a lot of people assume that giving birth natural is giving birth vaginal. With or without drugs. Just say that you didn't whip any drugs.

I have both of my kids natural without an epidural. I didn't think it be that bad. I don't think anyone has ever be offended by that. But I try not to make mom's who had epidurals be aware of bad. If they feel they need one next that's their business.
Answers: Maybe they get touchy because they couldn't do it? Not all people are the same, and bless you guys who can fiddle with more pain than others. I don't it's mad like you sensitive them, it's mad because they're jealous or upset that they couldn't.
But you'll never really know the true answer unless you ask them why they act resembling that.
I had a 35 hour labor and had pitosin and no epid. because it was too unsettled to, I had already dilated past 8 1/2 which at my hospital you can't get one after that point. It be fine!
I was in labor for 24 hours previously I got the edidural. I had been have contractions every minute, and they were lasting 20 seconds (they be like that for two hours) and then the nurse checked me and told me I was with the sole purpose at 2 cm, UGH!
So I got it because of no progression. Unforfortunatly, I ended up having to own a c-section even after that because my son's heartrate was going up and down sporadically.
I think the contractions were horrible, but I could enjoy done it if there was progression. When you don't see anthing working, you give up.
