well, i wouldn't exactly punish her for it... or shame her. solitary because it could cause a feeling of shame or fear of intimacy within her future.
your best course of action is to talk near your daughter about sex, and in the future, save closer tabs on her.
Have a serious cooperate with her. Punish her. Tell her why. Keep a close eye on her. Don't let her to friend's houses, parties, and after or earlier school activites for a long while. Make sure she understands the dangers. Tell her sex up to that time marriage is wrong. Be the parent you hadnt been before, explanation otherwise she wouldnt be in this situation. She might try her hardest to rebel, but dont give within. Teach her some respect for the rules of your home. Consult a child physcologist. Get her some counseling. Oh I'm so sorry this has happened you should purloin her to the doctor have her checked out and put on birth control of course you will have to continue to see if she is pregnant first .Also if you can put her into counseling family counseling would be best.The counselor will talk to her separately at first and then bring contained by you and her mother.All is not lost she can still have a great future.
you should ground her for a long time. no parties, sleepovers, hanging out after school or anything. if threes some sort of institution function she has to go to (like a sport or debate or something) make her check surrounded by with you every 45 minutes via phone call where you can in truth hear her voice (and whats going on in the background). ok...that is becoming the norm in this day and age...scary.. but my parents were very strict...no boys call the house...i was not able to call them...no update boys at the movies.but now there is so much access to internet and cell phones that it is hard to place limitations on everything. I however believe within has to be limitations..afterall..she is only 12. Talk to her and listen to her. If she continues to have sex regardless of consultation and other actions..get her on birth control.at least you can protect her that track. That doesn't mean i would accept what she is doing.
