The only craft I did next to my kids was make some cool crystals out of some bluing and salt once. They loved it. I tolerate them make whatever mess they want outside.
The best place would be at your local public library. They are BURSTING with kids in the summertime! There are so many reading programs and accomplishments that parents take their kids to-- most of the time because the parents are running out of ideas to keep their kids' minds busy during the long summer months.
Ask the library if you can post a flier on their bulletin board. (Or better all the same, set up a display of what is included in the packs!)
