My 13 year old be 104 one night. She said her side hurt and she was crying so much,,,we took her to the E.R., and her fever have gotten up to almost 106. It kept rising and it only took a little bit to realize her appendix had burst, and they whisk her away to surgery. Then it went back down to around 104-102 for the next few days.
With my 10 month elderly, she gets terrible ear infections (we're thinking she'll have to find tubes, =( ) so she often gets temps anywhere from 101 to 104, we just thrash out the baby tylenol and keep her in a nappy
My daughter have had 104. She gets horribly high fever when shes teething... we bring her to the doctors every time and they check her for everything and in the end tell us to be precise what it is.
My son- 104.3 (ear infection in both ears)
My daughter- 101.5 (after shots)

We certainly had to take my son to the ER for his fever because we couldn't break it after 6 hours and he be getting too lethargic. It was scary.
My middle one's temp go up to 103. be sure you get your child to a doctor anytime her fever goes over 101 degree in a child that young they can have whats call fever convulsions and hallucinations. all of which are really fearsome. i know been there!
My youngest had the flu this past winter and she get up 104 and I was beginning to get worried.. It go back down to 102, and stayed there for 3 days. Not a pleasent week. She was a trooper though
Answers:    My daughter have a non functional immune system and ge sick often and severely. (she has developed an allergy to Tylenol now)
her highest that we couldn't break be 105.7 (when she had mono)
Put in a call and win the Dr to get some Tylenol suppositories for her so she won't throw them up. when you make the call, they can also dispense suppositories to help calm down the vomiting. They work like a miracle most of the time.
It won't other "cure" the problems, but it certainly does weaken the trauma. If you can get some fluids kept down and go and get some rest, the process starts to get better.
Shame on Dr for not doing that to start with.
my daughter (who is now four) had a temp of 105.6 when she was 20 months hoary. she had scarlett fever, she had a temp that soaring for 5 days.
