Do you struggle to exercise & cater to yourself very soon your a mum?
Before my daughter arrived nearly 3 yrs ago I would exercise a lot, I'd be doing about 200-500 sit ups per day , using my stepper and exercise DVD's. I also use to use the sunbed or bogus tan myself so I felt good, would manicure & pedicure myself human being as I did beauty at college, had my hair done every month spending in the region of lb50, have all the latest comeliness products and make-up, perfumes, clothes jewellery etc I worked tough so liked to treat myself.
Obviously its a different story now I'm a mum, I still make an challenge, have perfected applying make-up contained by around 3 mins. I haven't had my hair done since she was born, my nail are in bad condition, skin isn't as great as it was, I use Johnsons holiday suntan but because I rush it round my daughter having a bath I usually end up streaky lol
I wouldn't adjustment it for the world but I do miss pampering myself a little bit, how about you?
No. Because I realize that if I don't bring good care of myself I won't be able to pinch good care of my son and my baby. So I try to at lowest take a warm bath after he is down for bed, sleep when he take a nap in the afternoon, and play with him when he get up! We take walks together, and go to the coast. I love being a mom! :-)
Pampering yourself presently that you're a mother, isn't bad at all. You still need to treat yourself every very soon and then. Prioritizing your daughter's needs is a good entry, but this doesn't hinder your goal to get wager on in shape again. Spending a small amount of money in a spa resort can make your daylight worthwhile. Go ahead and do the things which you normally do back then.
Wow - you must have be really well groomed! TBH I never did any of that really even before my daughter was born. I preferred to exercise outdoors (I love hiking!) and the one and individual time I ever used a sunbed was on my doctors recommendation to clear up some eczema! I would get my curls cut once every couple of months and I only ever wore make up if I was going out for the evening. Now that I am a mum not much have changed as I am still very low maintenance! I make time to attain my hair cut and paint my toenails, although my fingernails are in a bit of a state these days. If we are going out somewhere special I also bestow myself enough time to put my make up on but day to afternoon I am happy being bare face in jeans and a tshirt. I guess I am a bit of a scruff but that's OK with me, lol!
I am 24 wks pregnant and whenever i shop for myself I feel a little guilty bc within the back of my head I hear that little voice telling me "you don't have need of it but ur baby still needs a lot of things idle away it on him instead"so i understand how you feel even though i am not exactly a mom yet but my hope is to keep treating myself even when the baby arrives, so most importantly my goal is to finish college as promptly as i can so we can both have what we want with out feeling guilty something like it. I do look forward to being a new mommie though:)
Answers: Of course I miss it! And missing it doesn't variety me a bad mother. Honestly, I would still be able to do all of those things if we in recent times had more money. If we had more money, I could do BOTH: take charge of my kids AND myself. Sadly, I work fulltime and still don't have enough money to do the things for myself that I used to do. I used to be perfectly accessorized. My matched jewelry would meeting every outfit, all the shoes...the hair highlights...sigh. Yes, and I truly miss my pedicures.
These are the things we sacrifice when we have kids and no sugar daddies! lol.
I used to love shopping! Now I feel guilty buying myself socks. and that started as soon as I found out I be pregnant with my first in 2006 lol. Even when I was pregnant beside my second and finally needed maternity clothes, I couldn't do it. As far as my hair goes, I have it cut about 2 years ago.and I cut my own bangs the other day. I merely dont feel like I have the time to do anything merely for me, and even if I did I would feel bad spending money on myself! My husband hates it that I"m resembling this now, but I just really cant help it.
