Should the parliament regulate the number of children a couple should own?

thanks! :))
No, but I agree with a previous answer that near are certain cases which need to enforce mandatory birth control. My ex's sister has be pregnant 4 times by 4 different men, has never held a job any longer than a year, makes definitely no contributions to society except more children for the rest of us to support. I was praying that the last time she gave birth the doctor would enjoy just done some "tweaking" in there and toothless her plumbing.

Unfortunately, I also believe in personal freedoms so I can't support government regulation like this or I'd be a hypocrite. I do ruminate that stricter rules on government assistance, along with better sexual education and birth control to be precise easier to obtain would help cut down on the freeloading baby-factories.
GiDa's mum, if the administration got their *** in gear with regard to benefits, people wouldn't be living off the system.

I sat down and worked it out the other dark and if both my fiance and myself gave up worked, and claimed benefits, we would be better off than we are at the moment. How the hell does that work?

He's a graphic designer and a tattoo artist, I'm a trainee child minder, who also coaches gymnastics, rugby and basketball, we variety good money considering we're both under 20 and we have a 3 year weak daughter, but benefits would make us a lot more money.

That's why so many inhabitants are on benefits, because the government isn't giving them a reason to work.

Before the government regulate the number of children we own, they should start regulating themselves.

Monkey sees, monkey does.

You can't expect everyone to work and not claim benefits, when they see MP's fraudulently claiming and getting away with it.

The government own no right to tell me how many children I can have, and they never will, if they want that right (which they won't ever get) they call for to start listening to us, because right now, their attempts at playing God haven't worked in their fancy.
To an extent, otherwise our world will be EVEN MORE over populated. It seems wrong, and I believe to do what you resembling with your like (within reason) but we will have to frontage up to it one day, China has. Why can't we. We're bad for the planet - we're butchery it, and need to stop spreading - sorry if that sounds evil
I have always said that family on government assistance need to be on mandatory birth control. It is not fair that a couple can vitally be living for free and keep having children. I knew of a people once who had five children and they were on every imaginable assistance you could assume of from their children while at the time I was a single mother and was told that I made too much money for any kind of relief.

So yes in some cases I think the government should know how to regulate the number of children people have.
No, but I do believe birth control should be more available and less costly.
No, look what's happening surrounded by China.

If they don't have the right gender, they sell the kid into the sex trade industry or sell the baby to families who can't hold children.

Reproduction is a natural thing, people want to be more educated on contraceptives, especially teenagers.
As a practical matter government, or at least the U.S. establishment, can not do so because the civil libertarian and various ethic lobbies would have a fit and law suits would fly. Additionally challenge to the constitutionality of the law would be innumerable. The government can influence the number by tax and dependent restrictions within the tax code.
If the object is to control population It would be necessary to buy and sell with the current unrestricted immigration.
Are you kidding?! Doesn't the gov't regulate enough already? Aren't they in the midst of ratification laws that will further regulate our money, our minds and our lives. sure let's allow the gov't to play God and tell us how many children (if any) we are ALLOWED to hold.

So much for life, LIBERTY and the pursuit of happiness eh?!
Answers:    I don't think so. Isn't that a step towards communism?

I think that relatives should use common sense. If they can't take care of themselves next they shouldn't have kids. Also if they aren't in a healthy stable relationship they shouldn't enjoy kids.

I think that birth control should be free. So that people can make better decision.

I don't it is just my opinion. But I know that I only want 2 to 3 kids.
Hell no! Do you want us to end up like China.murdering adjectives the unwanted babies? I live in America where we have the freedom to own as many children as we want. If that were to change, afterwards all the men who fought for our freedom would have died in vain.
We only need to look at China to see how all right that policy works. There's a huge imbalance of men to women now due to their one child policy. Parents that have more than one child frontage huge fines of up to several years wages. Often, these second babies will be born and then abandoned at orphanages, which places a huge strain on the country to care for these children.

People will never stop have unprotected sex. That is a given. People will have unplanned pregnancies. That is also a given. But we need children. Who do you think will work to provide your income when you retire?
Not necessary if the couple can understand the problems they will face as ably as the country by having more children..
No, we're people not cattle.
No, that is a step toward communism.
But I do estimate birth control should be free and given without an exam.
At first glance I would think no, but copious times it is the government who ends up taking care of these babies.
NO. Obviously bloody not
first answer that comes to mind. NO.

but if you construe about someone who is unstable and keeps having kids, later maybe someone should look into how the kids are holding up and if they are happy... but other then that, no channel.
no
NO!
Which country do we live within? Of course they shouldn't.
