On average swine flu is no worse than a bad cold, and it is something most people are probably going to take at some stage anyway.
Swine flu is no more dodgy than the regular flu. According to the World Health Organization, "the United States Government has reported 20 laboratory confirmed human cases of swine influenza A/H1N1 (8 in New York, 7 in California, 2 surrounded by Texas, 2 in Kansas and 1 in Ohio). All 20 cases have have mild Influenza-Like Illness with only one requiring brief hospitalization. No deaths hold been reported."
So, to answer your question, I would not be too worried about Swine flu. There are probably worse things stirring at your kid's school.

Send your son back. Swine flu is pretty mild. I know children who have had it, including a babe-in-arms, and they got a fever, and were slothful for a few days, then bounced back to normal. When I asked my doctor nearly it, he said it was like being shot surrounded by the leg and getting a flesh wound. Unpleasant, but minor.
I think you should save them in school unless they have fruitless health anyways.
It's just like a normall cold, they wont die.
It's safe unless they have health problems or a very outstandingly very low imune system. I Don't see what's the point in takeing them out of school.
It wont slay them.
I heard on the box this morning that it is perfectly okay for a child to go to nursery/school during this outbreak. Flu viruses do not live long on surfaces and as long as here is not a sick child at the school, and there will not be, he should be fine.
Yes send him back, everyone should stop panicking, I have swine flu, its not that bad.
Its worse to live your life scared of what might arise
808 hearts, obviously this persons kid is a short time slow and attends summer school.
Don't worry swine flu is nothing to be scaerd something like.
Answers: #1...School's out for summer
#2...Swine flu is just another strain and no more deadly than your typical run of the mill flu we get every year. Source(s): ER RN/Mother of 3
I had swine flu. I didn't die. Neither did my 7 month old, who also had swine flu.
And why is your kid surrounded by school in july?
this child would of been treated for the swine flu your son can catch swine flu from the supermarket or anyplace he goes to so yes i would distribute him back to school even if he did catch anything in that are drugs that are being given out to combat this problem i would just lead your everyday natural life your chances of this happening to your son is still going to be slim
Last time i checked school was out for the summer well anyways here contained by Florida they are. Or have i maybe missed something? o.O
So i say troll. Unless you are not from the U.S
