Why do mothers touch the entail to pierce their newborn's/infant's/toddler's ears?
that's a good question.
i think it's stupid.
It disgusts me,
It doesn't look cute, it looks common.
Not just that a baby could well pull that earring right our and rip the ear. Nothing great or cute about scarring your baby!!
My daughters are 5 and 4 and still haven't get theirs done.
That can be a 13th birthday present
My ears were pierced when I was a baby and I never have any bad experiences with that, just close to my mom and her 2 sisters had their ears pierced when they were babies and their mom's and their grandmother's generation. I don't hold any kids yet but I think if I had a daughter I'd probably seize her ears pierced early too, like around 2 maybe. There are other things I reason are creepy but not earrings on babies like having them out of wedlock or putting makeup on them to enter them contained by pageants and things like that. Earrings aren't a big deal to me at adjectives.
Because they think it's cute when really it basically looks ridiculous.
I chose to get my daughter's ears pierced when she was 3 months old so that:
a. she won't remember the little pinch
b. I can clear sure they are kept clean so they heal properly.
c. She grows up thinking they are a part of her. She is 19 months ripened now and doesn't even realize they are there. She never touches them.
