KIDS ADDICTED TO VIDEO GAMES HELP?

What do you consider is to much video game time, computer time for kids between 9-14. What are the effects of to much video games and computer internet.
Tough to really say. I personally will play video games all sunshine. I would rather play video games with my friends then hangout within real life with them. You stop them at the point within which it becomes hazardous to their grades or other duties. Just make sure he or she doesn't play late at darkness. I truly love video games and they are a large portion of my life. If my parent restricted me more than they had or took them away I would own never forgave them. tread carefully, your child may truly enjoy playing.
Well, when i was young i used to play hours and hours of video games every day, afterwards spend all evening watching tv, and now i'm in the third year of a computer science point at the university of Warwick (4th best in the UK according to the guardian). So i would say that there's no such thing as too abundant hours of video games. I think its just that the older equals didn't grow up with them, so the inclination is to assume that if you grew up without them then it must be best if your kids avoid them too.

When it comes down to it, if you start trying to restrict how much time your kids spend playing video games consequently they will resent you for it, and get used to the fact that your orders are foolish, which manner in the future when you tell them to do things that are noteworthy they will be more likely to ignore you.
right very soon i am trying to stop. if you looked at my apartment you would see that it causes a great deal of laziness. i get so lazy that i only ate once a day. my floor is covered surrounded by trash, and then there is the part of me getting angry when i lose. i am a devoted Christian that say all sorts of cussing words when i lose. my attitude changes, my sleeping starts in the afternoon and ends at midnight. i enjoy scratched every working game that i have. to some people it is resembling a drug. i played games any where from 1- 24 hours a day. playing more than 2 hours is bad. if they do next you need to get rid of them all even the expensive one call World of Warcraft. in order to quit that, i had to offer my account to someone else. that game is the most addicting game ever made.

if you tolerate them watch all the tv they want then contained by a month they will stop cuz everything will be reruns to them. games dont give you head aches. if they did i wouldnt know how to play for 24 hours.
Our son is 6 and he is only allowed gaming or computer time on the weekends during the arts school year. I certainly do not allow it during the school week as I don't want our son to get used to playing when other things can be practised (ex. school work, family time, etc.).

During the summer, my husband and I allow it for about an hour or two respectively day..but lately, we are thinking about cutting put a bet on because it's all our son can think and talk something like. Game addiction can be very scary, especially starting at an early age.
it can cause headaches from looking at the screens too much i would read aloud 2 hours and give it a 4-5 hours between playing
My kid doesn't even care right now, but when i was a kid the rule be 30 minutes or tv after school, 30 minutes after dinner, and we had earn video game time. We get a marble for every chore we completed, and every marble was worth five minutes. If we did all our chores, we could get 30 minutes a year.
Your kids are probably resorting to computer games because of lack of sports or playing outside. Also, try playing games next to them yourselves, and taking them out so they have more fun out and doing other things, so hopefully they have a new favorite hobby. If they do verbs playing games, I would say no more then an hour of computer games.
Just limit their time, and so they won't receive mad or bored, take them to the movies or let them progress hang out somewhere with their friends. As for the 9 year old, do crafts next to them, or something brain stimulating. I know fourteen year olds like to hang out sometimes. But if not, rob them both swimming, spend a day at the lake, have a picnic. Fun summer stuff. Hope I help! Gl. <3
Answers:    I always heard a fitting rule of thumb is no more than 2 hours of screen time per day, including television, computer and video games. I would guess that includes adjectives age groups.
