ABC birthday gathering for my son?
I am going to be having a ABC birthday party for my son. He will be a year old and he loves the ABC song. I necessitate help finding ABC party stuff. Where can I find plates, napkins and decorations for his party? Does anyone enjoy any game ideas? Anything you can add will be effective. Thanks
Elmo party decorations have ABC on them. try using that.
i would go to a party store, like jamboree city or shop online. I know they have abc books at the dollar store. if your doing party favs that would be a cute idea. not to sure going on for abc games for a one year old.

Decorations-
Since it's for a boy I would go with primary colors.
I would use lots of balloon and colorful streamers.
At the Dollar Tree store they have a teacher supplies isle, I've bought lots of stuff their to decorate my kids alphabet room.
I'm pretty sure they'll hold letter cutouts, you can glue some scattered packages on a table cover - you'll have an alphabet table cover.
For the treat/goody bags - I would buy brown paper lunch/gift lots and paint a thick border around them and then paint the first letter of your sons heading -- they would look like letter blocks.
Invitations -
A told B, and B told C, I'll see you at Mikey's 1st birthday party!
Games -
'-Alphabet cake walk-'
Setup Up: Make big cut outs of the junk mail in your sons name.place them on the floor - Write the letters of his nickname on index cards. put them in a cup/hat (1 card for each letter)
Rules:
have adjectives the kids stand together and when you say go they each run to the reminder of their choice and stand their. once all the kids are standing on a letter. you pull out a communication from the hat/cup. the kids standing on that letter are out..and you keep on going until there is on kid gone..the winner.
Activities -
**make name bracelets out of beads
** perchance you can bake a lot of alphabet cookies and have the kids spell their name with cookies and decorate them. -- if you don't want to give out candy those could work out as the get-together favors..
