What else wishes to be covered within a will?
Me and the hubby are now intend on writing a will, just in luggage something horrible should happen to the two of us. We have a three month old son and I'm expecting #2.
So far I've get covered the major ones:
-Who should raise our children.
-Funeral arrangments/end of life issues (like if we'd want to be taken rotten of life support)
-Who gets what (possessions and money-wise)
I want to make sure I achieve everything covered and I know a lot of parents have wills, so I figured I'd post this here to see what else you guys put surrounded by yours before I think of consulting a lawyer.

You'll probably want to create some sort of trust for your children. It would protect them from having all their money "stolen" by their guardians. Leave a sure amount open for the guardians to use to raise your children, but stash some away in a fund that cannot be touched until they turn 18 or 21 or for serious medical necessitate.
This wouldn't necessarily go in a will. But put together some memories and maybe write a epistle or so and put it in a safety deposit box. A word to your children, something for them to remember you by. As you get elder (and don't die) you can continue to add to this box and write yearly (or whenever) parcels to add to the box.
