My son have be crying deeply at the babysitter.?
My son is 9 months old and he's been going to the same babysitter since he be 2 months old. A couple of weeks ago he has been crying seriously when he's there. He's not sick or cutting teeth right now. Is this a phase or what?
It's a phase. Every kid that I have babysat that is between 8 and 10 months older cries a lot when their parents leave. For the most part, its pretty short lived.
Without a doubt it is just separation anxiety. All children go through this at some point. You son is realize that him going to the sitters means that he will not be with you. If you are really really worried I would suggest you call rather while later to see how he is doing.
As asked before does he have anything special from home that you could convey with him. So that way he has a sense of you anyone there. Something that he associates with you? Normally a few minutes after the parents leave the child is fine so if you do christen about 10 minutes later and still hear him crying something might not be right.
I went through this when I used to work daycare. I be in the nursery and had a 11 month old who did this every sunshine to her mom. I told her maybe 5 minutes after mom leaves she is fine.
A question for you. Are there any other children at the sitters?
If so consequently he could be getting hurt or scared of another child. Or could he be not doing much at the sitters and is bored? Source(s): Almost 10 years daycare and working as a nanny.
