Why 2nd child contained by 3 children family typically loses out on inclination?

Because the oldest is their "first baby" and the youngest is their "baby"
well it seems that the major reason why is because clearly everyone wants to look out for the "baby" of the family and they are normally looked at as the most innocent and the oldest seem like the kid that always tries things first so parents other find out how to take care of the younger ones. Which leaves the middle one with zilch much really. I'm not saying this is how it always goes but it's the path that makes the most sense in this case, at smallest to me :\
I haven't had a three child family in 7 years, but when I did, it be actually quite the opposite.
I love adjectives my children equally and infinitely, if the two concepts aren't mutually exclusive. I don't love them all the same, but I love one as much as the others.
But when we were a three child domestic, I think my second was just so much better at capture my attention and capturing positive attention. He was and is such a precocious little imp, so full of vitality and life and passion for everything that he tended to suck my attention away from the other two at times.
His elder brother, even as an only child or one of two, has always be and continues to be super-independent. He's loving, certainly, but has neither needed nor wanted my husband or I to be his playmate, or be much of an attention-seeker. My oldest daughter - my youngest at the time of 3-child family - was definitely an attention-seeking child, but habitually attracted exasperation rather than positivity.
