What did Our Parents hindmost contained by the light of day ever do lacking Y!Answers?
I mean, since so Many parents get their Info from this site and learn How to pilfer care of their children from Y!A, How The Fu*k did our Parents ever do it, WITHOUT Y!A?

doctors, institict, other parents, their parents ect. I dont know really. I like the annoymessness of yahoo.
They used common sense and parented their kids. They didn't need a 13 year infirm telling them how to parent their child. They didn't need a person who never lift up a child to tell them how to parent their child.
I raised 8 kids or my own plus my brother's 9 children also, without Y/A and my wife and I did purely fine with all 17 of them.
Answers: fund in the day, parents actually parented...and consequently chatted and argued with their neighbors about their different parenting styles.
today, parents hardly parent...and consequently they chat and argue with total strangers on YA about their pathetic prudish parenting view and perverted fetishes.

Well, "back in the day" a lot of citizens stayed in the area that they grew up in. Therefor they enjoy parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles to draw upon. The since of community no longer seems to exist.

Not only just YA answers, but books and parenting websites and parenting lessons/groups. Parents back in the day used their adjectives sense.
Trial and error. Advice from definite life people (the horror... hah)
before, parents raised inwardly families...now people are so busy and family are not that close, they have to rely on strangers for advise.
LOL@ the people who said our parents truly parent... well ok they did that too but they gossiped and burned up the phone lines the same road we now do the net. Moms were I lived would acquire together to chat and kick our buts outside to play. They were just as doomed to failure for yapping about crap amongst each other. You don't have an idea that they were talking about the up-to-the-minute potty training tricks over that cup of tea... hell no!
I don't know. Good question though. LOL!
They parented their kids :) LOL. I don't know. I can't imagine being minus all the electronic options we have today. I'm spoiled :)
They relied on the untold knowledge of their own parents and the parents that were older and wiser.
